SDNA’s MISSION is to advance the well-being of the San Diego region by connecting, advocating and promoting nonprofits and providers, to amplify awareness and impact for our vibrant Social Sector.

Our SDNA” logo features the San Diego skyline embedded in building blocks of different colors, to represent the many diverse organizations which provide a strong foundation for our community.  Our logo is designed to reflect our commitment to connecting our social sector’s varied  strengths and meaningful goals to advance  the well-being of the San Diego region together — it’s in our “DNA”. 

WHAT DOES SDNA DO?

The San Diego Nonprofit Association (SDNA, formerly known as SANDAN) acts as a central voice and connecting hub for the San Diego nonprofit community, established as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, public benefit organization, since 1998. 

The San Diego Nonprofit Association represents the interests of thousands nonprofit organizations of all sizes, sectors and regions within San Diego County. Through our efforts in providing membership resources, collaborative opportunities and advocacy, we create the environment to help our members collaborate, prosper and succeed through proactive working partnerships with government, business and community organizations and leaders, to achieve a strong local community and high quality of life.
