Neville Billimoria brings experience, energy and empowerment to his leadership role as Senior Vice President of Membership/Marketing and Chief Advocacy Officer at Mission Federal Credit Union. He has accountability for a strategic array of crucial member-focused and outward facing functions including leading and managing the Marketing, Community Relations, eBusiness & Business Development Departments. This includes shared responsibility with the President and CEO for promoting Mission Fed’s public image and brand. Neville also serves on the Mission Federal Credit Union Community Foundation Board of Directors.

Margaret Iwanaga-Penrose 

Margaret Iwanaga-Penrose has served as the President & CEO of Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC) for 26 years.  UPAC is an organization with a 42 year history and sustained focus on innovation which addresses the evolving needs of San Diego’s culturally diverse communities. UPAC services reached over 34,000 individuals last year.  Staff provided mental health, substance abuse, economic development, child & youth development, senior nutrition and health promotion services in 17 languages and dialects. Her extensive experience include public and private administration and partnerships, policy development and advocacy. Her involvement in governmental, non-profit and corporate community included local, regional, state and national boards, commissions, committees and task forces.

Walter Philips  Walter Philips
Walter Philips, MSW,  has been Chief Executive Officer of San Diego Youth Services (SDYS) since July 10, 2000.  The agency is a major provider of comprehensive services for homeless, abused and at-risk youth; serving over 13,000 homeless, youth and their families each year.  Walter has worked for over twenty-five years in San Diego as a social worker, including over twenty years in administrative leadership positions in community based non-profits.  In addition, he has served on numerous local and statewide committees and boards, including San Diego Nonprofits (SDN) for over 15 years.

 

Barbara Ryan Barbara L. Ryan
Barbara L. Ryan serves as Vice President for Government Affairs at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. She is responsible for the management and coordination of the hospital’s activities and relationships with political, governmental and legislative bodies. Prior to her employment at Rady Children’s Hospital, Mrs. Ryan served as the Chief of Staff for State Senator Larry Stirling.

Gary K, Knight

Gary is the Executive Director of the San Diego Futures Foundation, (SDFF) a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit established to improve lives in San Diego through technology. SDFF provides equipment, software, training, services, and technical support to San Diego nonprofits, small businesses, and disadvantaged residents. SDFF is working to bridge the digital divide in San Diego, and helps low-income households, people with disabilities, and seniors.

 

Parker Pike

 Parker Pike
Parker’s business career in San Diego spans four decades of helping corporations, media companies, nonprofits and three universities. He was actively involved with the founding of the San Diego Innovation Trust and continues today focusing his energy on supporting social innovation. His previous experience included running San Diego’s first consulting company focusing on supporting corporate and nonprofit partnerships and hands-on experience of San Diego’s social needs as Community Relations Director the San Diego Union-Tribune. His innovative programs included development of the Think Blue Initiative for the City of San Diego and the largest environmental educational program in San Diego with SDG&E and the Birch Aquarium. He is founder of the San Diego AMA’s Cause Conference helping executives build sustainable partnerships. He continues today his 28 years teaching marketing classes at UCSD Extension. He has a BA in marketing from the Umiversity of Notre Dame.

Dale GanzowSales Manager, San Diego Business Journal

Dale is originally from Wisconsin and has lived in Milwaukee, Sacramento, Kansas City, San Francisco, Chicago, back to Silicon Valley before arriving in San Diego ten years ago as Sales Manager for the San Diego Business Journal . Along with local and national sales positions with business journals he’s also worked for a national trade publisher and has owned eight corporate and leisure travel agencies in Silicon Valley, Carmel and Dallas. Dale’s involvement in the community includes: Vice Chair of the Board of Walden Family Services, Advisory Board and Chair of the Leadership Counci; of the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, and  service on Boards and Committees for the San Diego Employers Association, South County Economic Development Council, North County Economic Development Council, , Assistance League of North County, Salvation Army, Classics 4 Kids, and the San Diego Performing Arts League.  He and his wife live in Carlsbad with their daughter.

 

Sue Simone 

Sue is a seasoned and versatile executive consultant providing services to SDNA as Chief Strategist. Her passion for connecting strengths to achieve greater good continues to serve a  wide array of nonprofits and businesses to gain optimal and meaningful results through alliances and collaborations, including: Urban Farming/Kraft Foods’ National Home Farming Movement, Grameen Foundation’s National Economic Empowerment Movement, Big Bros Big Sisters, Kidsave, The Museum of Tolerance, National Association for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Warner Bros, Universal Music and COSMOS. Sue also served 10+ years as SVP, Business Development for DMI, the first digital media mfr. in the U.S. assisting productions and marketing for hundreds of interactive projects. She is a UC Irvine Social Ecology and Education graduate, where her love of communications and community engagement began as General Manager and Public Affairs Director at KUCI FM  and President of the UC Public Radio Network.
